lyrics

Move it, move it, go on, stop
She never loved me
Goin' south,
And stay and change your wasted mind
And rot while living hand to mouth

I had a dream where you were begging
for a call that said, "come home"
All I see now is a contest
Winner spends less time alone

All that summer
you waited there for me
All for nothing
I ain't gonna be around very long

Spend your pennies
spend your time out driving with your friends
You've got your nothing, I've got mine
I'd like to see you when it ends

You always stood so proud
And now you're nothing to me any more
You're living like a commoner
Showing sadness to the core

All that summer
you waited there for me
Just for nothing
I ain't gonna be yours anymore

I'm not sad, and I'm not lonely
I wrote this song to make you cry and make me laugh
It's all that you deserve
Bye and good-bye

You lost what it was you had and now you're gone
and you can't convince anyone else to give a damn
So, so long, so long.

So long,
So long,
So long, good-bye
So long,
